August 2023
The dust has settled on the Women's World Cup and although it's dissapointing that the Lionesses lost to Spain in the final, we shouldn't forget what a massive achievement it was just to get there. Hopefully it will encourage more girls to want to play football.
As for our girl's teams, we've lost a few players. Two have gone to play for the Bradford City U15 Girls and two have gone to play for Bradford City U16 Girls, although they are hoping to be able to dual register and still play for us. This highlights what a great environment we have created for the girls to play in. We often have problems getting them to train as they just want to talk and have a catch up as they are all good friends. We still have a few girls who still haven't registered yet, but then people are still on holiday and hopefully that will all be sorted soon as our first game is on Saturday 9th September, which is not that far away.
