Grassroots Football Coach

The season was just about finished with the tournament last month and now with the end of season presentation done, the season has well and truly finished. It was nice to see most of the girls attend the end of season presentation, a few were missing due to holidays. It was a great night to round off a decent season with the team finishing 2nd in two different leagues and reaching the semi-final of a cup, which we lost on penalties. There is a chance a couple of the girls may be moving on, but hopefully, we will still have enough players for two teams if this happens.

We will be continuing to train over the summer, to keep the girl's fitness levels up and get them playing together ready for the start of next season in September. We still don't know which league we are registering the team in yet, but that will all be sorted out in due course.
